Finding the right part
How do I match a cutting tool to the job I am running?
Work from four numbers: the material you are cutting, the tool diameter, the shank or holder size, and the cutting length you need to clear. Every product page lists those figures in the title and the specification table. If you are replacing an existing tool, the fastest route is to match the part number stamped on the old tool, then confirm diameter and coating on the listing before ordering.
How do I read the sizing on end mills, drills and reamers?
Sizes are given in the same order the industry uses: diameter first, then shank or arbor, then length of cut and overall length. Fractional sizes appear as fractions, metric sizes in millimetres, and both are stated in the product title. Where a listing shows a range - for example 1/32 to 3/8 capacity - that is the full working range of the tool, not a single size.
Are your tools brand name or generic?
Our catalogue mixes both. Many listings are branded US or European tooling - Fullerton, RobbJack, LMT Onsrud, Aloris, LLambrich, Ko-ken and similar - and the brand appears in the product title. Other lines are sourced as equivalent tooling and are described by specification rather than brand, so you can compare them against the branded item you are replacing.
How can I confirm a tool fits my holder before I order?
Check three things on the listing: the shank or taper designation (R8, MT2, MT3, 5C, HSK, CAT40 and so on), the diameter, and the overall length. Tapers and collet series are not interchangeable even when the diameter matches, so if your holder designation is not stated on the page, send us a photo of the holder and we will confirm before you order.
Shipping and delivery
Do you sell single pieces or only packs?
Both. Where an item is sold as a set or pack, the quantity is stated in the title or in the specification table. Single-piece listings are priced individually. If you need a quantity that is not offered on the page, contact us and we will check whether a pack size or bulk price is available.
How long does delivery take?
Orders are picked and handed to the carrier within 1-2 business days. Delivery then typically takes 3-7 business days within the contiguous United States. A tracking link is emailed as soon as your parcel leaves the warehouse.
When is shipping free?
Shipping is free on orders over $59. Orders below that threshold are charged a flat $10 standard rate, shown at checkout before you pay.
Orders, returns and warranty
Do you ship outside the United States?
Our checkout is set up for United States addresses. For orders to Canada, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or overseas, contact us first and we will quote the shipping cost and confirm whether the carrier can serve your address before you commit to an order.
Can I change or cancel an order after placing it?
Contact us as soon as possible. We can usually change an address or cancel an order while it is still in the picking queue. Once a parcel has been handed to the carrier it can no longer be recalled, and the return process applies instead.
What if an item arrives damaged or is not what I ordered?
Email us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos of the item and the packaging. Damage in transit and wrong-item shipments are resolved at our cost, including return shipping. Please keep the original packaging until the claim is closed.
Can I return cutting tools that have been used?
Unused tooling in its original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Cutting tools that have been run cannot be accepted back, because the cutting edge and coating are altered from the first cut and the item can no longer be resold. If a tool failed on its first use, contact us with photos and we will assess it as a defect claim instead of a return.
Do you offer wholesale or bulk pricing?
Yes for repeat volume. Send us the part numbers, the quantities you expect per month and your business details, and we will come back with a quoted price. Bulk pricing is arranged by email rather than through the website checkout.
How do I get an invoice or receipt?
An order confirmation is emailed automatically when you place an order, and a receipt is issued when the order is fulfilled. If you need a formal invoice for company accounting, reply to the confirmation email with your billing details and we will send one.
Are the tools covered by a warranty?
Tooling is covered against manufacturing defects - a bad grind, a cracked carbide tip, a thread cut wrong from new. Normal wear, chipped edges from improper speeds and feeds, and breakage from misuse are not covered. Claims are handled by email with photos of the tool and the part number.
Full delivery and return conditions are on our Returns & Shipping page.
